About Jack Paterson

I am a graduate of Norwich University of the Arts, with a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, and specialise in stop-motion.

I am looking to work professionally as an animator in the industry, whilst continuing to work on my own side projects, such as short films and music videos. My original work is currently branded under the name DeskFable Films, and I specialise in Claymation. My short film The Curse of Dracular has been screened festivals such as Manchester Film Festival, and has won Best Production Design from the RTS Student Television Awards 2024 and Best Stop Motion at Animation Dingle.

The work you’ll find on here ranges from various short films to animation tests that I have produced over the past couple of years, plus snippets of projects that I’m currently working on. I hope you enjoy your visit!
