These are photos I have taken during the production of my latest project: The Curse of Dracular, a claymation short film based on a story my dad wrote when he was nine years old. I intended to submit the completed film for my final University project, but I was only able to get the first scene finished in time. Production of the film lasted from January to September of 2023, and has since been screened at Manchester International Film Festival, Chester Animation Festival, Animation Dingle, Animovies at the Festival of Animated Objects and has won two awards at the RTS East Student Television Awards. The characters are all completely plasticine, influenced by the classic claymation works of artists such as Peter Lord and Will Vinton.
